Guwahati: A man from Assam was arrested for allegedly killing his wife in the southern state by the Kerala Police.
This was informed by an Officer on Wednesday.
According to reports, the man is a resident of Nagaon district in Assam.
The Kerala Police team along with the help of Juria Police in Nagaon district arrested the accused.
The couple reportedly both hailing from Nagaon district, were staying in the Kerala’s Perumbur area where the man worked.
On April 1, he allegedly killed his wife in their rented house and then fled to his native Chatiyan village.
Reports further stated the Kerala Police traced the man to his village and arrested him on Tuesday with the assistance of Juria Police.
It may be mentioned that the accused will be taken to Kerala for further investigation.
