Guwahati: In a shocking incident of patricide, a man was allegedly killed by his own son in Sivasagar district of Assam on Wednesday.
The incident was reported at Geleki in Nazira of the district.
According to reports, the accused son identified as Ananta Duwarah allegedly bludgeoned his father to death due to a family feud.
The deceased father has been identified as Pradip Duwarah.
Meanwhile, local police arrived the scene and apprhended the accused son.
A case under relevant sections has also been registered against him.
