Guwahati, 4th March: In a shocking incident, a man was allegedly beaten to death by his wife and sister-in-law in Nagaon district of Assam.
The incident occurred in Amrapur of Lutumari Amdubi village under Kampur subdivision of the district.
The deceased has been identified as Dwijen Swargiyari of Amrapur.
As per sources, Dwijen fell victim to the brutal assault
Locals suspect that the motive behind the murder may be linked to a love affair.
It is rumored that the deceased’s wife was involved in an illicit relationship with the alleged killer, Keshab Das.
Upon receiving the information, police immediately arrived at the scene and sent the body for postmortem examination.
Moreover, the authorities apprehended Keshab Das and Dwijen’s wife, Ranjita Konwar Swargiyari, in connection with the crime.
Currently, Kachua Police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident and bring justice to the victim’s family.
