Assam: Man died after being attacked by honey bees in Morigaon
Guwahati, 9th January: In a heartbreaking incident, one person lost his life after a fatal swarm of bees attacked him in front of Morigaon Shaheed Bhawan on January 9.
The victim, identified as Deepak Nandy sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Morigaon Civil Hospital but was declared dead on arrival by medical professionals.
The presence of the bee hive in the area has been a growing concern, with multiple reported bee attacks in recent times.
Despite this, no concrete action has been taken by local departments or authorities in Morigaon to address the issue, culminating in this unfortunate and avoidable incident.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the community in Morigaon, prompting calls for immediate attention to the persistent threat posed by the bee hive.
The deceased, Deepak Nandy, is also known as Madhu and was the owner of Quality Hotel in Morigaon.
