Assam: A tragic incident unfolded in Chakrapani, Boko, on the night of December 16, 2023, leading to the untimely death of a local resident, Jayanta Rabha.
The victim succumbed to injuries sustained during a violent altercation with his brother-in-law, Padumi Rabha.
According to local sources, the incident was triggered by ongoing harassment. Jayanta Rabha, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, had subjected his sister-in-law to verbal and physical abuse. Tensions escalated, culminating in a heated confrontation between the two men.
Following the assault, Padumi Rabha was apprehended by Boko Police. Authorities are currently investigating the matter to ascertain the exact sequence of events that led to the fatal outcome.
