Assam: Man Missing Since 10 days Found Buried in Sonitpur
Guwahati, 22nd April: Against the backdrop of a shocking increase in horrific murders in state, another horrifying murder incident has come to light in Assam’s Sonitpur district where a man missing for over 10 days was found buried.
The horrific incident took place in Sootea village.
The deceased has been identified as Dayal Mandal who went missing since April 11.
As per sources, Dayal Mandal was found in the backyard of Nomal Munda’s residence in East Bholaguri of Gareki.
Upon receiving reports of Mandal’s disappearance, police officials launched an investigation.
Upon further investigation, Mandal’s remains were unearthed, sending shockwaves through the community.
Nomal Munda, where the body of Mandal was found is currently on the run and has been considered as a prime suspect in the case.
Meanwhile, a manhunt is underway to apprehend Munda.
The motive behind Mandal’s murder remains unclear, and investigators are diligently working to piece together the events leading up to his tragic demise.
