Guwahati: In a tragic incident, a man allegedly poisoned his two children before committing suicide in Nalbari district of Assam.
The incident was reported from Dokoha village in Barbhag area of the district.
The deceased has been identified as Dipul Saikia.
According to reports, Dipul Saikia allegedly took the drastic action because his wife had eloped with another man.
Police have arrived at the location to evaluate the circumstances and further investigation is underway.
