Guwahati: A shocking incident unfolded in Assam’s Chirang district as a man, identified as British Hajong, allegedly murdered his wife by beheading her. The horrifying event took place in Uttar Ballamguri, leaving the local community in a state of disbelief and fear.
In a chilling turn of events on Sunday, Hajong himself walked into the Ballamguri police outpost. He reportedly carried a sack containing the severed head of his wife and calmly informed the officers present about the gruesome act he had committed.
Upon receiving this startling confession, law enforcement officials at the outpost immediately alerted the Bijni police station. A dedicated team of officers was dispatched swiftly to Uttar Ballamguri to commence a thorough investigation into the alleged crime.
