Guwahati, 12th July: The Margherita District Sports Association has unveiled its lineup for the highly anticipated Radha Gobinda Baruah (U-16) Inter District Cricket Tournament, slated to commence in Golaghat starting July 10. This selection marks a pivotal moment for the region’s budding cricket stars, who are poised to showcase their talent on a competitive stage.
Under the guidance of coach Suhel Ahmed and manager Kalu Chetry, the Margherita team features standout players including Aniket Singh, Sahibuddin Ahmed, Kamran Khan, and Aditya Sharma, among others. These young athletes have been carefully selected for their prowess and potential to excel in the tournament’s challenging contests.
Satya Ranjan Borkakoty, General Secretary of the Margherita District Sports Association, expressed utmost confidence in the team’s capabilities. “We have assembled Margherita’s finest cricketing talents for the Radha Gobinda Baruah U-16 tournament,” he remarked. “We believe they will bring glory to our district by clinching victory.”
