Assam: Massive Cannabis Seizure Near Assam-Arunachal Pradesh Border by Mazbat Police

Guwahati, 26th March: A significant quantity of cannabis worth Rs 1.4 crores was intercepted and seized by a team from the Mazbat police station near the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border.

The Mazbat police station, situated in the Udalguri district of Assam, took lawful action against the individuals involved in the illegal activity.

This seizure follows a previous operation where narcotics valued at Rs 80 lakhs were confiscated, and two individuals were apprehended in the Nagaon district.

The Nagaon Police conducted the operation based on intelligence regarding a potential drug trade. During the operation, a vehicle was intercepted, leading to the discovery of the illicit narcotics.
