Assam: Massive Explosives Haul in Cachar District, One held
Guwahati, 13th November: In a coordinated effort between Assam Police and Central Reserve Police Force personnel, a substantial quantity of explosives, including 96 detonators and 96 fuses, was recovered on November 13.
Acting on specific inputs, the joint operation unfolded on Silchar Kalain road in Cachar district, resulting in a key breakthrough.
The explosives were discreetly concealed inside a bag, and the recovery has prompted further investigation.
In connection to the recovery, one individual has been detained, and legal actions have been initiated against the detained person.
The joint operation underscores the authorities’ commitment to maintaining security and addressing potential threats to public safety.
