Guwahati: A massive fire broke out in Golaghat district of Assam on Thursday.
The incident took place in the Bengenakhowa’s Tapan Nagar of the district.
According to reports, 15 houses gutted and property worth around lakhs of rupees were burnt to ashes in the heavy fire.
Following the incident, three cylinders also exploded at the site.
However, the reason behind the incident is suspected to be an electric short circuit.
It may be mentioned that there were no casualties or injuries reported in the incident.
