Guwahati: A tragedy struck at the midnight of Saturday in Nalbari district of Assam where many properties were reduced into ashes.
The incident took place at the Sunday market in Syed Ali Char of Mukalmua.
As many as three businesses establishments were gutted in the devastating fire.
The fire also burnt down the residence of one Ramazan Habib.
Initial investigations suggest that a short circuit caused the fire.
It needs to be noted that property worth Rs. 6 lakhs were turned to ashes in the fire.
However, the fire was extinguished by the locals.
It may be mentioned that there were no casualties or injuries reported in the incident.
