Guwahati, 29th June: A massive fire erupted late last night at Basimari market in Dolgaon village, situated in the Kaliabor subdivision of Nagaon district, Assam, resulting in extensive damage and substantial financial losses.
The blaze swept through the market, destroying numerous shops and businesses. Initial estimates indicate that the financial loss could amount to several lakhs of rupees.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Authorities are working to determine the origin of the blaze, which caused significant destruction before it was brought under control.
