Guwahati: As many as seven business establishments was gutted in fire in Hojai district of Assam on Sunday night.
According to reports, the fire erupted infront of Purana bazaar Vishal Market. The fire is suspected to have started as a result of short circuit in an electronic store, Arfan Electronics.
Meanwhile, the fire have destroyed property worth crores of rupees. Five fire tenders from Hojai, Dabaka and Lanka fire services arrived at the spot immediately after being alerted about the information. Along with the police the fire fighting personnel managed to douse the massive fire.
However, there have been no reports of casualties or injuries related to the incident.
