Assam: Massive Gathering in Kharuabandha for Oath-taking Ceremony
Guwahati, 5th May: On May 5, 2024, over 20,000 citizens convened at a primary school in Kharuabandha, nestled within the Mankachar Assembly constituency under the Dhubri assembly constituency.
Led by Raijor Dal president Akhil Gogoi, the event marked a significant moment as citizens from diverse backgrounds gathered to solemnly pledge their commitment to upholding the principles embedded in the Indian Constitution and preserving the democratic essence of the nation.
Central to the oath-taking ceremony was the endorsement of opposition unity and a firm resolve to counter any endeavors aimed at undermining the democratic foundation of the country.
Akhil Gogoi’s pivotal role in orchestrating the monumental gathering was evident, with his presence and impassioned address striking a chord with the attendees. His words served as a rallying cry, urging the crowd to remain unified against forces seeking to sow division along communal lines.
A prevailing sentiment during the event underscored the urgency to thwart what was dubbed as the “communal BJP-AGP-AIUDF” alliance, emphasizing the collective responsibility to safeguard the secular fabric of the nation.
