Assam: Mega Bike Rally in Kokrajhar Draws NDA Allies, Absence of BPF Chief Raises Eyebrows
Guwahati, 3rd April: A massive bike rally, gathering participation from numerous National Democratic Alliance (NDA) allies, including BJP, UPPL, and AGP leaders, unfolded under the Kokrajhar Assembly constituency, capturing the attention of the region.
Minister U G Brahma flagged off the 90-kilometer rally from the Adabari ground in Kokrajhar, setting the energetic tone for the event. The rally saw the presence of notable figures such as MLA Lawrence Islari, BTC MLA Rajeev Brahma, and BJP district president Kavita Basumatary, showcasing the unified strength of the NDA alliance.
However, the conspicuous absence of BPF chief Hagrama Mohilary did not go unnoticed, eliciting sharp criticism from various quarters. Mohilary, once a prominent figure in the region’s political landscape, faced scrutiny amidst the evolving political scenario.
Observers commented on Mohilary’s absence, interpreting it as a sign of shifting power dynamics within the region. Some voices suggested that Mohilary’s era might be waning, signaling a desire for fresh leadership to steer the region’s trajectory away from traditional influences.
