Guwahati: A memorial meeting was held in Assam’s Rangiya to pay tribute to the late freedom fighter Siddhinath Sarma.
The meeting took place at the historic Siddhinath Vidya Mandir Higher Secondary School, which was founded by Sarma himself.
The memorial meeting and discussion circle were organized in the school’s auditorium to commemorate the birth and death anniversary of the freedom fighter.
The event was attended by local MLA Bhabesh Kalita, who highlighted Sharma’s contributions to society while interacting with teachers, students, and local dignitaries.
Coinciding with the special day, MLA Bhabesh Kalita inaugurated the newly constructed main arch of the school, along with a cycle stand for the convenience of the students.
