Assam Minister Atul Bora Dismisses Bajali Demarcation Interference Claims
Assam Cabinet Minister Atul Bora has firmly refuted allegations of political meddling in the ongoing boundary demarcation process of Bajali district. Speaking to reporters during his recent visit to the district, the veteran leader assured the public that the exercise is being conducted purely under the aegis of the state government.
“There is absolutely no such issue. There is no political interference in the demarcation of Bajali district boundaries,” Bora stated emphatically, addressing the rising public concern surrounding the matter. He underscored that while the process might be time-consuming, the district’s boundaries would undeniably be finalised. “The government itself has taken the initiative, and the boundary of Bajali district will be finalised. It may take a little time, but the demarcation will certainly happen,” he added with conviction.
Bora further elaborated on the consultative approach adopted for the demarcation, confirming that public feedback has already been gathered and communicated to the Chief Minister. “It is not necessary that every detail must be made public. Public consultations have been held, and opinions have been gathered regarding the district boundary. The feedback from the public has been conveyed to the Chief Minister, and the boundary demarcation will proceed accordingly,” he explained, reinforcing the government’s commitment to a fair and transparent process.
