Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika Highlights Fuel Price Disparities with Kerala

Guwahati, 14th November: Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika has once again taken to social media to emphasize the difference in fuel prices, this time comparing Assam with Kerala.

Sharing receipts from a petrol station in Kerala’s Thalassery, Hazarika pointed out that while petrol costs Rs 98 per liter in Assam, it is priced at Rs 108 per liter in CPI(M)-ruled Kerala.

Hazarika reaffirmed the commitment to maintaining reasonable fuel prices in Assam, responding to concerns raised by a Kerala resident questioning why petrol prices in their state couldn’t be below Rs 100, similar to Assam’s rates.

The minister has consistently highlighted such disparities, aiming to provide relief to consumers in Assam.
