Guwahati, 20th November: Assam Cabinet Minister Pijush Hazarika targets Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) chief Bhupen Borah, predicting his defeat for a fourth consecutive time in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Hazarika asserts that no matter where Borah contests, he is destined to lose.
Confident in the BJP’s prospects, Hazarika anticipates the party winning at least twelve seats in the upcoming elections. He further suggests that Congress and the AIUDF will each secure only one seat, emphasizing the Chief Minister’s assertion of confirmed victories in eleven seats. Hazarika envisions a resounding win for the BJP, particularly citing a 3 lakh-vote margin in the Kaziranga seat, while Congress and AIUDF are limited to two constituencies.
