Assam Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass Highlights Tourism Potential of Gadadhar River

Assam: Assam Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass took a dip in the Gadadhar River, a tributary of the Brahmaputra in Dhubri, offering prayers to the sun in a unique gesture that emphasized the region’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.

Dass, who also swam in the river, expressed admiration for the untapped potential of the Gadadhar River and its surroundings as a destination for tourism.

“The Gadadhar River, alongside the majestic Brahmaputra, offers immense opportunities for eco-tourism and cultural festivals,” Dass said. “These initiatives could not only promote tourism but also bolster the local economy by creating jobs and attracting visitors to Dhubri.”
