Assam Minister Slams Gana Suraksha Party; BJP Alliance Energizes Election Efforts

Guwahati, 5th May: Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika launched a scathing attack on the Gana Suraksha Party, led by Naba Sarania, accusing them of misleading the public and obstructing the region’s development. Hazarika particularly targeted Naba Kumar Sarania over fake caste certificate allegations, asserting that those like Sarania, engaged in deceiving people with counterfeit caste certificates, are incapable of fostering development in the area.

Meanwhile, as preparations for the third phase of elections intensify, the ruling opposition has been actively mobilizing. A significant gathering of BJP alliance members convened at Saraimari in Baksa on May 4th. Minister Pijush Hazarika, along with various party leaders, spearheaded the assembly. High-profile BJP figures are vigorously campaigning, aiming to secure victory in the Kokrajhar Lok Sabha seat through alliance efforts.

Addressing the media, Minister Pijush Hazarika underscored the public’s desire for peace and rejection of divisive Bodo-non-Bodo politics. BPF candidate Khampha Borgyari also joined in, criticizing opponents and expressing confidence in their own victory, predicting a substantial margin of votes in their favor. Additionally, Hazarika expressed gratitude for the support received, reaffirming the commitment to developmental initiatives, highlighting significant investment in the BTR region over the past three years.

In an appeal to voters, Hazarika urged them to cast their ballots for the UPPL, emphasizing unity and development over division. He dismissed the relevance of opposition candidates and stressed the necessity of reinstating Modi as Prime Minister.
