Assam Minister UG Brahma Launches Book on Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma’s Philosophy
Guwahati: On January 15, Assam Cabinet Minister UG Brahma officially unveiled Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Philosophical Perspective, a book authored by Dr. Ajit Boro, during a gathering organised by the Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Trust at Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar town.
The event was attended by several distinguished figures, including Assam Football Association Secretary Dr. Sangrang Brahma and Professor Dr. Indira Boro. The book’s author, Dr. Ajit Boro, who also serves as the chairman of the Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Trust, was present to share insights into his work.
The book delves into the philosophical contributions of Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma, a spiritual leader and reformer whose teachings profoundly shaped the socio-cultural landscape of the Bodo community and the region at large. Known for his advocacy of social and religious reforms, Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma’s legacy continues to inspire, and the publication aims to preserve and promote his ideologies for future generations.
Born on April 18, 1860, Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma is celebrated as a pioneering figure in Bodo society, advocating for unity, education, and spiritual enlightenment. The event underscored the importance of upholding his teachings to address contemporary societal challenges and foster harmony.
The release of the book marks a significant step in commemorating and disseminating the timeless wisdom of Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma, ensuring his influence endures for generations to come.
