Guwahati, 12th November: In a devastating incident on November 12, a 12-year-old boy, Rahul Ahmed, lost his life to electrocution at Balapara in Jogighopa, Bongaigaon district. Rahul, the son of Amir Ali and Jelekha Khatun, had been working at a broiler farm where electrical wires surrounded the premises, leading to the fatal accident.
The owner of the broiler farm, Yar Alam, is currently on the run, leaving a community in shock and grief.
The area, known for illegal gambling activities, witnessed the illicit use of electric wires to power the broiler farm.
Tensions escalated as locals sought accountability, with police from Jogighopa station present to manage the growing unrest among the community.
