Guwahati, 7th October: In a shocking incident, three members of a same family sustained severe injuries in an armed assault by a gang of eleven assailants wielding sharp weapons.
This terrifying incident unfolded during the late hours of October 6 in Mukorapara Kothalguri, located in Kokrajhar, Assam.
The victims, identified as Matibar Mandal, Nominur Mandal, and Manowara Bibi, have been rushed to a private hospital in Bongaigaon, where they remain in critical condition.
In a significant development, the police managed to apprehend two of the attackers late last night, one of whom is alleged to be the mastermind, Sabed Ali.
Additionally, the relatives of the victims have implicated two other individuals as the key orchestrators behind this brutal attack.
Furthermore, the FIR filed by the victim’s family has named several other individuals as participants in the assault.
At present, the police are actively engaged in a manhunt to apprehend the remaining culprits involved in this harrowing incident.
