Assam: Miscreants demands money on name of ULFA-I
Guwahati: Now a days several cases has been reported of people from the state joining ULFA-I, the banned militant group but this time few youths extorted money by naming the banned outfit in Tinsukia district of Assam.
In an incident three youths dressed in Army uniform entered a businessman’s house and demanded Rs 7 lakh on Tuesday.
The incident took place in Kakjan village under Phillobari police station in Tinsukia district.
According to sources the businessman has been identified as Umesh Shah and he is of Raw Tea Leaf small trader of Kakjan.
Meanwhile, the three youths came on a two-wheeler entered Umesh Shah’s residence and demanded the money from his family.
It may be mentioned that Umesh Shah, the businessman, was also kidnapped in October last year.
Moreover, on Tuesday also the youths entered the house and demanded money from the family.
It is to be noted that the whole incident was captured in the CCTV camera.
