Guwahati: The Mission Basundhra 2.0 scheme submission due was extended by the Assam Government to March 31 in a series of significant decisions made during the state cabinet meeting held on January 12, 2023.
The move has been done to make it possible for everyone who qualifies to receive benefits under the Basundhra 2.0 scheme.
The decision was made in light of the amount of candidates who were previously unable to take advantage of the program’s benefits.
The deadline for applications has been moved from January 10, this year, to March 31, 2023. All submissions must be submitted by November 14, 2023, to be considered.
Candidates will be able to apply from the convenience of their own homes.
As per a tweet by Assam Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, “The extension of last dates will enable field level revenue machinery to examine the applications qualitatively, conduct field visits, conduct Sub-Divisional Land Advisory Committee (SDLAC), seek Government approval wherever required, realize premium and grant settlement/confer rights to tenants”.
Candidates must upload the required minimum of documents on the official Mission Basundhara 2.0 website.
