Assam: Morigaon College Achieves Prestigious A Grade from NAAC, Celebrating Academic Excellence
Morigaon— In a significant milestone for higher education in Assam, Morigaon College has been awarded an A grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), following a thorough evaluation process.
The college achieved an impressive Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.25, the highest score in its category, solidifying its reputation as a leading educational institution in the region.
Assam’s Education Minister, Ranoj Pegu, made the announcement, commending the collective efforts of the college’s faculty, staff, and students. “This recognition is a testament to Morigaon College’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and quality education,” he stated, expressing his best wishes for the institution’s continued growth and success in future endeavors.
The achievement comes on the heels of Cotton University also receiving an A grade from NAAC in September, where it secured a CGPA of 3.05 on a seven-point scale. Cotton University has long been recognized as a centre of knowledge and academic rigor, earning accolades during its first cycle of assessment as a university in the entire northeastern region.
Morigaon College’s accomplishment highlights the state’s focus on enhancing educational standards and fostering a culture of excellence within its institutions. The positive outcomes from these assessments reflect the ongoing dedication of educators and learners in Assam, propelling them toward achieving even greater heights in higher education.
