Assam: Morigaon Forest Officer Range Bags Two Gold Medals at 26 All India Forest Sports
Guwahati: The 26th All India Forest Sports Meet 2023 is currently taking place at Panchkula, Haryana. Athletes from all around the nation are competing in a variety of events.
Range Officer Robin Kumar Baishya of Morigaon, Assam won two gold medals in the weightlifting category at this major event displaying his outstanding strength and talent.
Baishya’s outstanding achievement made his department and Assam proud. Despite the challenging competition, Baishya outperformed his rivals proving his commitment to and diligence in the area. The gold medals he has earned are evidence of his dedication to his career and his love of sports.
Together with Baishya, Azizul Haque also brought honour to Assam by taking home a bronze in the 100-meter race. The 63-member team from the Assam Forest Department is participating in several competitions in the competition and has exhibited remarkable passion and sportsmanship.
The Assam Forest Department thanked Robin Kumar Baishya and Azizul Haque on their accomplishments and expressed its hopes for their ongoing success. These athletes have shown that anyone can succeed and represent their state with pride if they work hard and are dedicated.
The 26th All India Forest Sports Meet will be held up till March 14th, 2023.
