Assam Mourns CRPF Jawan Nasir Uddin Sarkar Martyred in Manipur Bomb Attack
Northeast Desk, 27th April: Amidst profound grief, Assam bids farewell to Nasir Uddin Sarkar, a CRPF jawan hailing from Bhella in Barpeta, who was martyred in a bomb attack in Manipur’s Bishnupur district.
Nasir Uddin Sarkar, serving in the 128th battalion of the CRPF, fell victim to the heinous assault, leaving behind his son Ajiruddin Sarkar, wife Amena Begum, and Sukanya Narjima Begum.
His son, Ajiruddin Sarkar, appealed to the government for support, emphasizing the family’s reliance on Nasir Uddin Sarkar’s income.
The attack, believed to be perpetrated by armed miscreants, targeted the outpost of B/128 Bn CRPF at Naransena, resulting in casualties, including the martyrdom of Nasir Uddin Sarkar.
In condemnation of the cowardly act, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and vowed that the sacrifices of the security forces will not be forgotten.
