Assam: Muslim Youth Renovates Durga Temple in Dhubri, Promoting Hindu-Muslim Unity
Guwahati, 24th October: In a remarkable demonstration of unity between the Hindu and Muslim communities, a young resident of Chapar in Dhubri district undertook the renovation of a Durga temple during the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja festivities.
The dedicated individual, known as Amrit Badshah, is not only a social activist but also serves as the secretary of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee.
Last year, he initiated the restoration of a 59-year-old Durga Temple, and with the assistance of local youth, he successfully completed this project.
Amrit Badshah fervently appealed to people of all castes and religions to nurture a sense of brotherhood and harmony among the residents of Chapar, emphasizing the importance of unity and cooperation in this effort to renovate the temple at Shalkosa.
