Guwahati, 11th May: Nagaon Police, under the leadership of Inspector Baluram Terang from Rupahihat Police Station, conducted a targeted raid to dismantle illegal betting operations linked to the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The meticulously planned operation yielded significant results, with law enforcement officials seizing incriminating evidence and apprehending an individual involved in IPL gambling activities.
During the raid, the police confiscated cash amounting to Rs. 1 lakh, along with a mobile handset. These seized items serve as vital evidence in advancing the investigation and initiating legal proceedings against individuals complicit in unlawful gambling practices.
