Guwahati: A person was arrested in connection with a seizure in huge quantity of narcotics substances in Karimganj district on Sunday.
According to reports, the seizure took place after officers in Karimganj’s Badarpur and Patharkandi area acting on specific information launched a search operation.
853 bottles of phensydyl cough syrup and about 22,000 Yaba tablets were seized during the search operation.
”Two anti-narcotics Ops were conducted by Badarpur and Patharkandi PS staff which led to the recovery of 22000 YABA Tablets and 853 bottles of Phensydyl cough syrup.1 person is apprehended in this regard,” police tweeted.
