Jorhat, 13th August: In a heartbreaking incident, a newborn baby was found abandoned on a sidewalk in Assam’s Jorhat district late Monday night, August 13. The infant was discovered near Devicharan Barua Girls College on AT Road, just behind the girls’ hostel.
Two women, who were passing by, noticed the abandoned baby and quickly understood the gravity of the situation.
