Guwahati: In a devasting incident, an employee of Oil India Limited’s (OIL) in Tengakhat oil field of Assam died at the industry premises on Thursday.
The deceased employee has been identified as Bikash Gogoi. He was a Kothaloni GCS employee in the Tengkhat oil field.
According to reports, Gogoi was severely injured after he fell in the industry’s bathroom. Despite being transferred to a hospital in Dibrugarh, he was declared dead by the doctors there.
It needs to be mentioned that Gogoi was a resident of house no 357 of sector ‘A’ of the employees’ residential area.
