Guwahati: In a midst of Bihu festivals, Assam Police arrested one person for allegedly being involved in drugs peddling in Marigaon district of Assam on Sunday.
The peddler has been identified as Abul Badshaha aged 25.
As per the sources of MyNewsNE, police official from Marigaon and Laharighat launched a joint operation against drugs and arrested the accused.
Badshaha has arrested from the Kacharibori of the Laharighat village.
The police officials recovered a total number of 19 vials filled with suspected Heroin.
Moreover, the police recovered a cash and seized one mobile phone from his possession.
Legal action has been initiated into the matter and further investigation is underway.
