Guwahati: One person was killed in a road accident in Golaghat district of Assam on Sunday.
The incident took place at Numaligarh near Bokakhat town of the district.
The deceased identified as Pradip Bibhar who was a resident of Numaligarh tea garden.
According to reports, Bibhar was riding his motorcycle when a truck collided head-on with his vehicle resulting in his death on spot.
Furthermore, residents of the area protested by blocking the roads.
