Guwahati: Over 300 LPG gas cylinders were reported stolen from a gas agency in Hailakandi district of Assam on Monday, according to officials.
According to reports, the Sorasori Gas Agency in Assam’s Hailakandi district reported the theft of cylinders.
Officials informed that the heist that occurred last night resulted in the theft of up to 370 gas cylinders.
Meanwhile, the theft allegedly took place about 50 metres from Panchgram Police Station.
It should be mentioned that a horrifying robbery case involving a home helper sedated a family and stole money and other belongings in Kokrajhar of Assam, surfaced in March of this year.
Reportedly, the maid drugged the family’s food, causing them to die. Having a clear path, the maid broke into their house and stole a sizable sum of money and gold jewellery.
The victims’ relatives were identified as Jayashree and Ranjit Mandal.
After using the medications, both family members suffered severe illnesses. The incident occurred at Kokrajhar’s Vidhanpalli New Colony. In Kokrajhar, Rajdeep Mandal operated a computer xerox business.
The accused identified as Sandhya Das used to help the family in their household chores.
