Guwahati, 28th October: Over 50 people including children and the elderly were injured after the gallery area of a film theatre came crashing down while a cinema was going in Golaghat district of Assam on October 27.
The incident took place at Chungajan in Dhansiri of the district.
As per sources, various structures including posts were demolished in the incident.
Upon receiving information about the incident, Chungajan police and Uriamghat police along with the CRPF force managed to bring the situation under control.
An investigation into the matter has been initiated by the police officials.
