Assam Police Apprehends Mobile and Laptop Thieves In Dhubri

Guwahati, 8th January: In a commendable operation on January 8, the Dhubri police successfully apprehended two notorious mobile and laptop thieves, putting an end to months of terror in the town during the night. The joint team from the Dhubri Sadar Police Station and the police rider party executed a daring operation, targeting the culprits responsible for causing mayhem in the surrounding rural areas.

The arrested individuals, identified as Rashidul Ali from Birsingh Char and Noor Islam from Aironjongla Part-III, were captured during a raid at two different locations. Sub-inspector Nilim Talukdar led the police team, which included two newly appointed officers, in executing the operation.

Both Rashidul Ali and Noor Islam confessed to their involvement in the spate of thefts that had plagued the town for the past few months. During the raid, the police team, under the command of sub-inspector Nilim Talukdar and his two newly appointed officers, along with the police rider squad, recovered ten cell phones, a laptop, two cameras, and bell metal items from the custody of the accused individuals. This successful operation marks a significant step in ensuring the safety and security of the town’s residents.
