Guwahati: Two cybercriminals from Jharkhand were arrested by Assam Police on Wednesday in Baksa district.
As per reports, two scammers who pretended to be bank officials and stole thousands of rupees in Salbari is identified as Afzal Ansari and Akhtar Ansari .
They siphoned off a sum amount of Rs. 1,02,000 from the victim Amrit Das.
Earlier, a fraudster identified as Navam stole Rs. 16 lakhs in September from the account of retiring college Principal Lalit Shyam at Punjab National Bank.
