Guwahati, 11th July: Assam police have apprehended a suspected drug dealer, Fakhrul Islam, in Laharighat following a tip-off from confidential sources. The arrest resulted in the seizure of suspected heroin, packaged in multiple containers.
Law enforcement officials recovered fourteen plastic vials containing what is believed to be heroin, with a total weight of 3 grams. The arrest marks a significant step in the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
