Assam Police, BSF Prevent Illegal Entry of Three Bangladeshi Nationals Across International Border

Guwahati, 24th September: In a joint operation on September 23, the Assam Police and Border Security Force (BSF) successfully stopped three Bangladeshi nationals from illegally entering India through the international border. The individuals were identified as Anowar Hussain, Nashrin Sheikh, and Babli Shaikh.

This action follows heightened vigilance by Assam’s security forces, aimed at curbing illegal infiltration across the border. The operation was praised by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who stated, “Displaying alertness, @BSF_India and @assampolice managed to push back 3 illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators across the International border. Good job Team!”

On the previous day, September 22, Assam Police and BSF apprehended two other Bangladeshi infiltrators in separate incidents, further showcasing the state’s strong border security efforts.
