Assam Police Conduct Statewide Security Operations to Bolster Community Safety

Guwahati, August 26, 2024: In a concerted effort to enhance community safety across Assam, police forces have launched rigorous security exercises, including vehicle checks, area domination operations, and foot patrolling. These initiatives aim to strengthen public security and ensure a peaceful environment throughout the state.

Cachar District: Law enforcement in Cachar has intensified vehicle inspections as part of broader safety measures. These checks are designed to prevent any potential threats and create a safer community atmosphere.

Joint area domination operations have been a focal point for Nagaon Police. The coordinated efforts involve officers from multiple police stations, including Khatowal, Samaguri, Puranigudam, and Muwamari. Additionally, a specialized team led by the SDPO Kaliabar, in collaboration with the AP commando battalion, has conducted area domination exercises near Kaziranga, ensuring the region remains secure.

Police have conducted area domination exercises and route marches to maintain a visible presence and reassure citizens of their safety. These operations are part of ongoing efforts to uphold public order and prevent criminal activities.

Enhanced visibility and responsiveness have been key objectives for Barpeta Police, who have undertaken area domination and foot patrolling across the district. These measures are designed to increase the police presence and ensure a swift response to any incidents.

Nalbari Police, in collaboration with Quick Response Teams (QRTs) and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), have conducted route marches to reinforce security in the area. Their actions are similar to those of Baksa Police, who are also dedicated to maintaining peace and tranquility through foot patrolling and area domination.

The police have prioritized the safety and security of the district’s residents, carrying out extensive area domination operations. These activities are part of ongoing efforts to ensure public order and prevent disruptions.
