Guwahati, 22nd April: In a tragic turn of events, the body of a police constable was discovered under mysterious conditions at the Golaghat police station. The deceased, identified as Rana Veer Chauren from Kokrajhar, was on election duty in Golaghat at the time of the incident.
Chauren had been reported missing for two days prior to the discovery of his body. The circumstances surrounding his death are unclear, as his body was found floating in a pond within the premises of the police station.
Following the recovery of the body, it was promptly transported to the Shaheed Kushal Kowar Civil Hospital in Golaghat for post-mortem examination. The police have initiated an investigation into the perplexing death, seeking to unravel the mystery surrounding Chauren’s demise.
