Guwahati, 28th September: In a recent effort to combat illegal gambling activities, local police conducted a successful raid in the town of Lanka, situated in Assam’s Hojai district. The operation resulted in the apprehension of three individuals involved in the illicit gambling operation on Thursday.
The three individuals taken into custody on charges related to illegal gambling have been identified as Syedullah, Nehar Ali, and Moizul Islam. During the course of the raid, law enforcement officers confiscated three mobile phones and a collection of gambling cards from the trio.
