The individuals—Sohil Hawladar, Shah Alam, Sourab Hawladar, and Md Kawsar—were caught as part of ongoing monitoring efforts at the international border.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma commended the Assam Police’s swift action, stating, “In yet another successful push back operation, Assam Police managed to apprehend and send back individuals to Bangladesh through the Karimganj border.”
