Guwahati: Assam police official was killed in a vehicle accident in Dergaon on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Mrigren Bora, a resident of Jorhat.
Bora was reportedly building a new house in Dergaon, and on Sunday he was on his way to see his under-construction home.
According to reports, on his way to home on his two-wheeler, he was involved in an accident. Bora lost control of his motorcycle on the way and slammed into an electric pole on the sideway.
It may be mentioned that the locals hurried him to the hospital after the accident, but Bora died on the way because of severe head injuries.
