Guwahati, 29th March: A distressing incident unfolded on National Highway 37 near Kuwaritol, as a collision involving a Mahindra Scorpio vehicle and a policeman’s bike left the officer injured, according to local authorities.
The accident transpired when the Mahindra Scorpio, registered as As 12 S 7128, collided with the policeman’s bike bearing the registration number As 30 5976. Sources indicate that the policeman was traveling from Shilghat to the national highway when the Scorpio, coming from Nagaon, collided with his bike.
Following the collision, Kaliabor police swiftly intervened, seizing the Scorpio vehicle involved in the accident. They promptly transported the injured policeman to Kaliabor Sub-Divisional Civil Hospital for urgent medical attention.
